About Me
Hello, Scouting family! I’m Daniël Corsen, and I am excited to share my journey and vision as a candidate for the World Scout Committee.
Born on May 19, 1987, I have been actively involved in Scouting since I was 7. As an adult, I held various leadership roles in Scouting, both at home and internationally. I hold a Master of Science in Financial Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. As the founder and Managing Director of Reshapers, I have led numerous transformation initiatives.
Scouting has been an integral part of my life since childhood. Inspired by my parents, who were both dedicated Scout leaders, I grew up surrounded by the values of honor, service, and kinship. From campfires to community service projects, Scouting has shaped my character and instilled in me a deep commitment to making a positive impact.
My Focus
Scouting should be open and accessible to all, everywhere. It brings us together, fostering a sense of belonging and unity across diverse communities. We must ensure every young person feels valued and empowered by breaking down barriers, promoting inclusivity, and safeguarding the well-being of all our members.
Unity, Inclusion and Safeguarding

Our Scout Programme must adapt to prepare young people for an uncertain future. We must focus on innovative education, ensuring that Scouting remains relevant and impactful. By providing competency-based learning experiences and continuously innovating our educational programs, we equip youth with the skills they need to navigate and shape the future.

Scouting isn’t just about adventures; it’s about transforming lives. Effective leadership requires listening, collaboration, and action. I believe in cross-generational, co-creative leadership that empowers young people to lead. By fostering resilience, leadership, and social responsibility, we help shape future leaders.

Well-managed and sustainable Scout organizations are crucial for our success. We must focus on good governance, financial sustainability, and comprehensive support for our volunteers. By strengthening our organizational structures, we can ensure Scouting not only endures but thrives, providing a solid foundation for future growth.
